Pubs in Felixstowe tend to be either full of elderly domino-players nursing a half-pint or underage Burberry-wearing chavs downing alcopops. The two exceptions are at Felixstowe Ferry: The Ferry Boat Inn and The Victoria both offer decent real ale and excellent pub grub. The Ferry Boat Inn is also very snug and charming. " "The Feathers" at Walton has changed hands and has been updated. It does good home cooked food and serves cask ales. It has a large garden and a relaxed atmosphere. All ages and pets are welcome.
